Brampton parking ticket pay online

The city is making it easier to pay or dispute tickets online with the new Administrative Penalty System (APS) coming later this month.

The new online portal will be up and running by Oct. 16, giving Brampton residents “a fast and flexible system for payment, review and collection of parking and other by-law penalties,” the city said in a release.

The system is designed to streamline the bylaw enforcement and ticket payment process while increasing compliance with Brampton by-laws “in a manner that is fair, effective and efficient.”

Once the system goes live, residents will be able to pay penalty notices online or request a review of the penalty by a Screening Officer with reviews completed through a written submission, which could lead to a reduction or cancellation of penalties.

There’s no guarantee that a review will be successful, but residents who disagree with a Screening Officer’s decision will have up to 15 days to request an online Hearing Review Meeting.
