Passenger wearing body armour and fully loaded pistol caught in a Mississauga

A driver and their passenger face criminal charges after a traffic stop in Mississauga.
Police stopped the driver on Hwy. 410 at Derry Road for an expired vehicle registration, OPP said in a tweet just after 7 p.m. on Jan. 12.
Police then discovered the passenger was wearing body armour and balaclava with a fully-loaded, nine-millimetre pistol and thousands of dollars in cash.
Both the driver and passenger face criminal charges and were held for a bail hearing.
