Milton residents who participate in a scavenger hunt could have a chance to win a gift basket with goodies from a local business.

The scavenger hunt, hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (BIA), is encouraging residents to “snap into spring” by taking and posting photos while they shop, eat and explore downtown.

From now until Apr. 24 at 8:00 p.m., participants are being encouraged to take photos of as many of the following.

  1. Shopping in a store
  2. Enjoying a meal
  3. Grabbing a hot or cold drink
  4. Getting an ice cream or dessert
  5. Looking at a Window Display
  6. Lounging on a bench
  7. Take a selfie at the Spice O’ Life Parkette
  8. Walking across a rainbow crosswalk
  9. Enjoying a health or beauty treatment
  10. Socializing with friends
  11. Posing with a business owner or employee
  12. Playing in a park
  13. Standing like a mannequin in front of a store
  14. Dancing at Mill Pond
  15. Wear bunny ears and pretend to hop down Main St.

To enter the contest, photo submissions must be uploaded to the Facebook Event Page or to Instagram along with tagging the Downtown Milton BIA.

Participants are reminded that all photos must be taken in downtown Milton and they do not need a photo of every action on the list to enter.

Each photo counts as an entry into the ballot and those who take and share two photos, will receive two entries in the draw.

The contest is open to anyone ages 19 and older.

“Make this a fun challenge to do in a day with family or friends or cross things off the list over time! Have fun!” said the Downtown Milton BIA on its website.
