Part of Main Street closed in downtown Brampton for emergency watermain repair

Crews have roads in downtown Brampton blocked off for emergency watermain repairs.

The southbound lanes on Main Street North are closed south of Nelson Street and Theatre Lane as crews work on emergency watermain repairs.

The Region of Peel says repairs will be ongoing through the rest of Tuesday and advised drivers in the area to watch for water on the road and drive with caution.
