Part of Airport Road closed for watermain repair north of Brampton

Drivers headed to Brampton may want to plan ahead before hitting the road as repair work has caused a road closure north of the city.
Shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday Peel Public Works said crews were working on repairing a watermain in the area of Airport Road and Old School Road.
Part of Airport Road has been closed just south of Old School Road while crews are on the scene.
Peel Public Works says crews have closed a southbound stretch of Airport Road with traffic being moved over to the northbound lane.
A flag person will be on-site to help direct traffic and Peel Public Works says to follow all road signs and directions.
No time frame was given for when the work would be finished and the roadway would reopen.
