Part of 401 Blocked After Serious Crash in Mississauga

A serious collision has caused a significant blockage on the 401 in Mississauga.

The OPP recently announced that a collision occurred in the westbound collector lanes of the 401 just before Dixie Road.

The two-vehicle crash was blocking the left lane and could be consuming more of the roadway now.

There are unconfirmed reports that a fatality has occurred.

Emergency crews are on scene.

Please avoid the area.
