A Brampton resident faces manslaughter charges after a parking lot fight.
The incident started with an argument between two people in a parking lot in the Castlemore Road and McVean Drive area of Brampton at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, Peel Regional Police said.
The argument escalated to a physical fight, police said.
One person suffered serious injuries and died in hospital on Jan. 15. Police didn’t provide further information about the victim.
On Jan. 20, Abdifatah Ahmed, 25, of Brampton, was charged with manslaughter.
He was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
