Paramount Fine Foods expands butcher shop into Mississauga grocery store

Paramount Fine Foods will operate a butcher shop offering halal meats and traditional Middle Eastern foods inside a Mississauga grocery store.

On May 12 the butcher shop will open inside the Real Canadian Superstore on Argentia Rd.

This new addition will offer halal meat and poultry in addition to a variety of Middle Eastern dips, condiments and cold bar items.

“We are excited to partner with Real Canadian Superstore to expand the Middle Eastern selection available at the large grocer and appeal to the growing halal market,” said Mohamad Rizk, director of commissary and Butcher Shops at Paramount Fine Foods. “Our wide variety of products will give customers all the ingredients they need to recreate their favourite dishes at home.”

Paramount successfully operates a number of restaurants throughout the GTA and has been steadily adding its butcher shops into existing store locations. Last year they opened inside Rabba at Meadowvale Town Centre.
