Pair of crashes result in serious delays on Oakville highways

A pair of car crashes are resulting in some serious delays for drivers on Oakville highways on Tuesday afternoon.

At around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon a collision in the right-hand lane of the Westbound Highway 403 ramp to the QEW in Oakville has resulted in the two right lanes and right shoulder being blocked .

Earlier in the day, emergency responders were called to the scene after a serious crash on the QEW.

The crash, which involved multiple vehicles, happened aft 11 a.m. on the Toronto-bound QEW near Bronte Rd.

The Ministry of Transportation reported that all lanes were closed in the area of the crash.
