Overnight closures along Main Street in Hamilton due to roadwork

Due to roadwork, three streets along Main St. West in Hamilton will have evening and overnight closures this week.

Roadwork is weather-contingent and subject to change. For now, road users in the area will face the following disruptions this week.

• On Wednesday night (Feb. 22), there will be no through traffic on Locke St. S., at Main, from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning. Hamilton Street Railway bus routes will be maintained with a minor stop relocation. Access to Main from Locke will be maintained.
• On Thursday, there will be a partial closure on Ray St., with no through traffic at Main from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Bus routes will be maintained.
• On Thursday, there will be a partial closure on Queen St. at Main from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. One lane of southbound through traffic and a left turn only onto Main will remain open. A right turn from Main to Queen will remain available.
