Overnight shooting investigation in Hamilton

Police are asking residents for their help in an investigation where gunshots were fired during the early hours of Sunday morning in Hamilton.
On Sunday (May. 7) shortly after 12:00 a.m., police say they received a report that shots were allegedly fired near the area of Crockett St / 34th St E in Hamilton.
According to officers, there are currently no known victims or injuries reported.
With the investigations ongoing, Hamilton Police Service is requesting anyone with information regarding the incident, including dash cam or video surveillance footage to contact on duty Division 3 Detective at 905 546 3851 or the Division 3 Staff Sergeant at 905 546 3886.
