The city has opened many splash pads across the city, giving residents a way to beat the heat during the summer months in Brampton.
This week’s weather forecast may be calling for scattered showers, but temperatures will be above 20 C through the weekend with a high of around 27 C on Friday.
And with a long weekend coming up, the city has opened most splash pads and wading pools for kids and families to enjoy when the weather heats up.
Residents are reminded to play it safe near water, to always keep young children within arms’ reach at splash pads and wading pools, and never swim alone.
Young children should wear life jackets when swimming in pools or at the beach.
