Over 650 homes, businesses in Hamilton’s Stoney Creek area affected by power outage

Over 650 homes and businesses in Stoney Creek were without power for much of Friday night, due to the heavy rainstorm that blew in off of Lake Ontario.
Alectra Utilities says the outage is in an area is south of the of Devil’s Punchbowl Conservation Area. It is between Ridge Road and Highland Road East, south of Rural Road 20. An estimated 664 homes and businesses are without power and the expected time of resumption is 9 p.m. on Friday (July 2).
UPDATE: As of 8:30 p.m., only 92 homes and businesses remain without power. But their ETR is 10 p.m.
