Over $5,000 in electronics and goods stolen from warehouse, Brampton man charged

Police have charged a Brampton man after allegedly stealing more than $5,000 in electronics and items from a warehouse in Caledon.

On April 11, the OPP says officers from the Caledon detachment were alerted to multiple thefts from a warehouse on Coleraine Dr. in Caledon.

Police say investigators identified a suspect and searched a residence and two vehicles, recovering thousands in goods including Apple watches and wireless headphones.

The OPP has charged 28-year-old Jagroop Sangha from Brampton with Theft over $5,000 and Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on May 11 to answer the charges. None of the allegations have been proven in court.
