Over 5,000 homes and businesses without power in Mississauga

A power outage is in effect this evening.

Alectra reports that at least 5,000 homes and businesses are affected in the area of Hurontario St and Eglinton Ave.

Crews have been dispatched.

There is currently no estimated time for when power will return.
