Over 3,000 residents affected by power outage in Brampton

A power outage is currently in effect in Brampton.

Alectra reports that approximately 3,356 homes and businesses are without power in the area of Bonnie Braes Dr and Chinguacousy Rd area.

The cause of the outage is believed to be equipment failure.

Power is estimated to return by 1:00 p.m.
