Over 1,800 homes and businesses affected by power outage in Mississauga

A massive power outage is in effect this evening in Mississauga (July 17).

Alectra reports 1,827 homes and businesses are without power in the area of Winston Churchill and Derry.

This is the second big outage in Peel today after another major outage was reported in Brampton.

The cause of the outage has not been specified.

Power is estimated to return by 1:30 a.m.
