Over $10,000 in items stolen from Oakville condo storage unit

A storage unit in an Oakville condo was broken into and robbed of over $10,000 in items, including jewelry and clothes, earlier this month.

Halton Regional Police are investigating after someone managed to get into a storage unit in a Bronte Rd. condo between Jan. 9 and 15.

Police say the robber gained access to the metal storage unit by unscrewing a wall.

They then proceeded to steal more than $10,000 of property, including various electronics, clothing and jewelry, before taking off.
