Oshawa’s Tank Museum hosts first event of the season

History came alive Saturday at the Ontario Regiment Museum with Winter Warfare, the first event of the season for Oshawa’s fabled ‘Tank Museum.’
Visitors of all ages came out to see how military vehicles are used in harsh winter climates around the world with demonstrations from the tanks and other armoured vehicles from the museum’s collection, the largest of its kind in North America.
The next Tank Saturday event is Vietnam May 3, followed by Aquino Weekend (June 9-11), Canada at War (July 8), Korea (September 9), Blitzkrieg (August 12), Armageddon (October 14) and Remembrance Day (November 11).
There will be events at the museum during March break as well.
