Ontario Tech’s men’s hockey season will be on the line Saturday night in Ottawa when the Ridgebacks play the Carleton Ravens in a win-or-go-home OUA first round playoff game.

Ontario Tech, who took two-of-three from the Ravens during the regular season, will have to figure out a way to score against red-hot Carlton netminder Mark Grametbauer, who stopped 21 Ridgeback shots in the first period and 47 in total Wednesday night at the Campus Ice Centre to help the Ravens blank Ontario Tech 4-0 in the first game of a best-of-three series.

Ontario Tech goalie Leif Hertz, who sported a sparkling .919 save percentage during the season, will have to be especially sharp in game two against a Carleton squad – led by OUA goal scoring leader Parker Aucoin – that outscored the Ridgebacks by 27 goals over the 26-game regular season.

Fifth-seeded Ontario Tech (13-10-3) finished just two points behind the fourth seeded Ravens (14-9-3).
