Oshawa’s Durham College unveils new Centre for Innovation and Research

Durham College celebrated the grand opening of its new Centre for Innovation and Research at the Oshawa campus.
The newly renovated centre is a collaborative, state-of-the-art space that fuels “creative thinking, networking and synergistic partnerships” between Durham College and the community.
It’s home to the college’s Office of Research Services, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and four of six applied research centres: the AI Hub, Centre for Cybersecurity Innovation, Mixed Reality Capture Studio and the Social Impact Hub, as well as the Institutional Research Team and the Experiential Learning Hub.
A large crowd made it out to the opening events to see some demonstrations of what goes on at the facility.
