The City of Oshawa is redeveloping Florell Park in the east end and wants to hear your thoughts on preferred playground equipment and accessibility.

The conceptual plan includes a new playground with sheltered seating area, accessible park pathway, and new site furniture and amenities.

“The make-up of a neighborhood changes over time and so, therefore, do the needs of that neighborhood concerning any park and related facilities,” said Councillor Rick Kerr, Chair of the Community Services Committee. “The public input process on park redevelopment is important for both the residents and City Staff, for each benefits from the feedback provided.”

Residents are invited to provide their feedback by visiting Connect Oshawa to view a conceptual plan and complete the online feedback form www.connectoshawa.ca/florellpark. If you prefer the old school paper feedback form on paper you can call Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311 during regular business hours.

Feedback will be received until noon on Thursday, October 28.
