Oshawa shooting sends teenager to hospital

There is a police presence, including a helicopter, in an area of Oshawa, amid a shooting investigation.
Durham Region police say that an 18-year-old man was shot in a parking lot on Chevon Prince Path on Thursday (Aug. 12). He has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers from DRPS are in the area. No immediate word about the description of the suspect(s) was available.
