Oshawa Peony Festival named as a Top 100 event for 11th straight year

Make it eleven straight years Oshawa’s most colourful annual event has been honoured as the city’s Peony Festival has once again named by Festivals and Events Ontario as one the Top 100 Festivals in the province.

One of Oshawa most popular, and certainly most beautiful festival has been a mainstay at the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens since 2004 and a regular on the FEO list since 2013.

The Festival and Events Ontario recognition Top 100 award acknowledges industry excellence happening across the province. The award is recognized by festival goers, peers, and government officials for leading quality festivals and events.

The 2023 Peony Festival, a showcase of 300 peony varieties in the gardens, will take place Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11. The free event also features artisans, live music, gardening advice, a judged Peony Show, Children’s Garden, an art competition and a photo contest.
