Home renovations and investing are in the future for Fritz Chambers after the Oshawa won $106,378 in the November 18 LOTTO MAX draw.

Chambers, 47, says he discovered his big win when he was checking his ticket in the store. “I was stunned at first. Even the retailer was surprised,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I had to take a minute to calm down.”

He told his partner and friend about the win right away. “They were so excited for me,” he said. “It feels really good.”

LOTTO MAX players in Ontario have won over $7.6 billion since 2009, including 96 jackpot wins and 844 MAXMILLIONS prizes. LOTTO MAX is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Shell station on Wilson Avenue in North York.
