Oshawa man left seriously injured after stabbing

An Oshawa man was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Friday morning after he was stabbed in the leg.

Durham Police arrived at the Simcoe Street and Olive Avenue area around 3 a.m. this morning to find the victim with a wound to his leg.

Police say a man approached the victim, stabbed him and took off on foot.

The victim, 41, was treated at a local hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man, wearing a black jacket with fur on it.
