Ajax grandmother win $50,000 in Daily Keno

An Oshawa man is planning a trip after winning $100,000 off a lottery ticket he bought on a lark.

Stephen Fulton, 50, usually picks up Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 tickets but decided to grab a Daily Keno ticket when he went online to OLG.ca.

“I woke up early one morning and rolled over to open my laptop and check my email. I saw an email from OLG that said Big Winner and that’s how I found out I won $100,000,” he told the OLG, “It was a great way to wake up in the morning.”

He turned to wake his wife to tell her and, “She was ecstatic. She started jumping up and down on the bed.”

Fulton is going to help out his family with the winnings as well as put some toward his retirement and his mortgage. Then he’s set to travel somewhere warm.

“This feels like a wonderful privilege,” he said.
