Oshawa man convicted of sexual offences against a child breaches order, arrested again

Oshawa man back behind bars after breaching court order to stay away from minors

An Oshawa man convicted of sexual offences involving a child is back behind bars after he was found to be in breach of his release conditions.

Alexander Brooking, 43, was arrested Monday after investigators with Durham Regional Police information that he was breaching his conditions, which prohibits him from being in the company of or communicating with anyone under 16.

Officers confirmed Brooking was in violation of his court order and was arrested without incident.

Brooking was charged with fail to comply with release order and held for a bail hearing.
