Oshawa-made Silverado HD takes top prize for customer loyalty

The Oshawa-made Chevrolet Silverado HD took top honours in the Heavy-Duty Truck category in S&P Global Mobility’s 27th annual Automotive Loyalty Awards.
Loyalty is determined for the awards through analysis of full-year sales data for the competing vehicle models and manufacturers. A consumer is considered loyal if they bought a new vehicle of the same make, model, or manufacturer as their earlier purchase.
GM vehicles won model loyalty awards for five segments in addition to the Overall Loyalty presented to the top manufacturer.
Production of the Silverado HD truck takes place at the GM Oshawa plant and the GM Flint plant in Michigan.
