Next Gen Chevy Silverado unveiled

The next-generation 2027 Chevrolet Silverado, expected to go on sale later this year, was introduced this week by General Motors.

The redesigned truck, which is produced at Oshawa Assembly as well as GM plants in Flint, Michigan, Fort Wayne, Indiana and Silao, Mexico, will be available in next-generation 5.7L and 6.6L V8 engines, honouring small block heritage while advancing more than a century of truck capability, durability and performance for the “next generation of owners,” said Global Chevrolet Vice-president Scott Bell.

Oshawa is the only plant producing both light-duty and heavy-duty models.

The 2027 Silverado 1500 introduces an all-new exterior with a bolder stance, stronger face and more premium execution and boasts new LED headlights and taillights, more pronounced wheel opening moldings and rocker treatments and standard dual exhaust on some models for a “more refined appearance.”
