Oshawa drug bust gets quantity of Fentanyl off the streets

Two suspects are in custody and a quantity of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine is off the streets after Durham Police executed a search warrant at an Oshawa residence Friday.

Central East Division Community Response Team officers launched an investigation into the two suspects and with search warrant in hand, raided the Simcoe Street residence where they found the drugs.

Jessica McDonald, 39, of Oshawa, has been charged with trafficking (methamphetamine) and four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine).

James Macleod, 45, of No Fixed Address, has been charged with possession of Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of opioid for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

They were both held for a bail hearing.
