Oshawa condo on list of affordable homes sold in September

Home prices have flattened in most areas across the GTA, especially In Durham Region where there are still bargains to be found.
Sales are down from September and inventory remains low, says real estate agency Zoocasa, but there is still a mix of home types coming to market, from luxury homes to fixer-uppers and well-kept condos. Cooler markets mean buyers may be able to pick up their dream home for a little cheaper.
One Oshawa property made the top five most affordable homes sold in the GTA in September.
A condominium townhouse at 120 Nonquon Road, Unit 133 came in fourth on the list with this 3-bedroom home in Oshawa’s booming north end selling a week ago for $345,000,
Property details of the unit, sold by Keller Williams of EnergyKeller Williams Energy, include the aforementioned 3 bedrooms, I bathroom, 1 parking spot with a walking score of 70 and a transit score of 50.
“This condo was a steal, selling for just under $350,000. The main floor features an eat-in kitchen overlooking the backyard and a walk-out to the patio off the living room. There is lots of room for potential on the second floor with three separate bedrooms.”

At #1 on the list is a 1-bedroom condo apartment at 800 Kennedy Road Unit 504 ($315,000) in Scarborough. Number 2 is a 2-bedroom condo apartment at 3460 Keele Street Unit 504 ($320,000) in North York, followed by another condo apartment, 785 Browns Line Unit 201 ($332,500) in south Etobicoke.
Number five on the list is an apartment at 15 Maplewood Avenue Unit 902 in Toronto. This condominium unit sold for $350,000.
