Oshawa church accepting donations for humanitarian care packages for Ukraine

Grace Church in Oshawa, in partnership with Meest Canada Shipping, is accepting donations to send humanitarian aid packages to Ukraine.

Volunteers are accepting food items:

  • Instant oatmeal packets
  • Canned meat and fish
  • Granola bars
  • Maria Cookies
  • Teabags
  • Instant coffee
  • Sugar cubes or individual sugar packets

Medicine (must be in pill form):

  • Aspirin
  • Advil
  • Tylenol
  • Gravol
  • Sore throat, cough and cold pills
  • Bandages
  • Gauze
  • Antibiotic cream
  • Wet wipes

Clothing (new only):

  • Socks, mittens, hats,
  • insoles, thermal underwear and

Miscellaneous:

  • diapers, wipes
  • Sleeping bags, blankets, mats for sitting or
  • laying down
  • Single use plates, cups, utensils
  • Candles / flashlights

The church is located at 445 Stevenson Rd N and will be open daily between 6 pm-9 pm.

Financial donations can be made by e-transfer to [email protected] memo: UkraineAid.

All monetary donations will be used to purchase the items listed above. Please provide your contact information in the e-transfer if you require a donation receipt.
