Oshawa baseball kids donate 200 lbs of food to Simcoe Hall Settlement House

The boys from the 2011 Oshawa Legionaires AAA baseball team understand the importance of giving back to the community.

The players and their parents started collecting food items at every home game this year and last week they delivered about 200 pounds of food to Oshawa’s Simcoe Hall Settlement House.

Last week’s opponents, Whitby 10u AAA and the 2011 Scarborough Stingers AAA club, also contributed to the food drive.
