Organized fall activities come to Georgetown and Acton neighbourhood parks

The Town of Halton Hills has launched its Neighbourhood Pop-Ups program that encourages residents to take part in activities that promote fun and fitness.

Over the next several weeks the programs will be offered at neighbourhood parks beginning tomorrow (Nov. 5) in Georgetown and Action.

Town staff will be on hand to organize the games and activities for anyone who wants to join in.

Here is the complete list of Neighbourhood Pop-Up events and the locations:

  • Saturday, Nov. 5, Prospect Park, Action from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 5, Gellert Park, Georgetown from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 9, Joseph Gibbons Park, Georgetown from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 12, Dominion Gardens Park, Georgetown from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 12, Fairgrounds Park, Georgetown from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 15, Emmerson Park, Georgetown from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 19, Prospect Park, Action from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 19, Gellert Park, Georgetown from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 24, Danby Road Park, Georgetown from 3:30 to 4:40 p.m.
