Orangeville armed robbery suspects could have fled through Caledon

Police are searching for two suspects who may have fled through Caledon after a gunpoint robbery in Orangeville last week.

Around 3:00 p.m. on Friday (April 15), police say two men entered a business near the area of First Street and Fifth Avenue in the Town of Orangeville and brandished a firearm while demanding cash from store employees.

Police say the male suspects took cash and property from the store and then fled the scene in a black SUV.

The vehicle was seen heading southbound on Highway 10 out of Orangeville and was spotted again in Caledon a short while later according to police.

There were no injuries reported and police are still searching for the suspect.

The first suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with a small white logo on left chest. Police say he was wearing a medical mask and black gloves, grey pants and white shoes.

The second suspect is also described as a black male and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front, black pants, black shoes, a medical mask and black gloves.
