OPP report ‘sudden death’ behind presence at Caledon home

The OPP has confirmed their heavy presence at a Caledon home is the result of a sudden death investigation.
Police confirmed their presence at the home on True Blue Cr. shortly after 7 p.m. on May 9. The area is a residential neighbourhood in the southern tip of Bolton, near the border with Vaughan. They described their presence at the scene as a “heavy” one but stressed there was no concern for public safety.
About 90 minutes later, they confirmed they had been called regarding a “sudden death” at the home, but reiterated the investigation is at an early stage and as such “no further details can be released at this time.”
They shared their belief there is no threat to public safety and said the cause of death cannot yet be confirmed.

The investigation is in its early stages and no further details can be released at this time. Residents of the area should expect to continue to see a large police presence.
