Open house for students seeking formal wear to take place at Milton school

Students seeking formal wear will be able to browse for attire at upcoming open houses being held at a school in Milton.

The open houses, called Fashion Forward, will be hosted by the Halton District School Board (HDSB) and will enable students to browse and try on donated formal wear for upcoming prom or graduation events in a welcoming environment at no cost.

They will feature a selection of new and gently-used dresses in different styles, colours and sizes, along with suits, shirts, ties and shoes.

The open houses will take place on Monday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 17 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Elsie MacGill Secondary School, located at 1410 Bronte St. South.

Students will be required to bring their student identification to the open houses.
