Ontario’s first lakefront Nordic spa is now open.

Wander the Spa, operated by Wander the Resort, is a boutique spa experience near the water’s edge on West Lake near the village of Bloomfield, midway between the Prince Edward County’s main centres of Picton and Wellington.

The 10,000 sq. ft spa boasts a hydrotherapy circuit, four pools, two saunas, a steam room, massage treatments, a beach, communal fires and an ‘exfoliation cabin,’ as well as an on-site restaurant.

It’s set below ground level for privacy and the all-season facilities have heated outdoor floors.

The opening of the spa, which took a little longer than hoped with some “unexpected challenges,” was a project five years in the making for founder Shannon Hunter in bringing the project to life.

“To our incredible community – your support, encouragement and enthusiasm has truly meant everything to us,” she said. “Prince Edward County has always been a special place, one that invites us to slow down and savor the moment.”

Whether it’s a retreat, celebration, or work event, and from major milestones to private moments, Wander the Spa can help bring your dream gathering to life.

Bookings are now available for single or multi-day passes. You can also book cabins to stay in, enjoy meals at the restaurant and relax at the beach club.

Wander the Spa is located at 15841 Loyalist Pkwy.
