Ontario Works office at Midtown Mall in Oshawa

The Ontario Works office at Midtown Mall in Oshawa, which had to close its doors Wednesday due to flooding, will remain closed this week to allow for cleaning and repairs.

Clients may visit the Community Resource Centre on the second floor of 200 John Street – immediately west of downtown – to access limited supports. Ontario Works services and supports can also be accessed at Durham Region Headquarters on Rossland Road in Whitby.

The region said on its website a team is “actively assessing” the situation and that clients can call 311 for more information.
