Ontario reporting three more people in hospital due to COVID-19, five more in ICU

The Province is reporting 339 people in hospital with COVID-19, an increase of three from the day before.

Additionally, as of Wednesday (September 1), 163 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is an increase of five from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 137 are unvaccinated, while 19 have received one dose, and 33 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 83 are unvaccinated, while eight have received one dose, and 10 have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 34,703 vaccinations as of Wednesday. To date, 73 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 85 per cent of adults, and 78 per cent of adults have received both doses.
