Ontario reporting four more people in hospital due to COVID-19, seven fewer in ICU

The Province is reporting 306 people in hospital with COVID-19, an increase of four from the day before.

Additionally, as of Friday (August 27), 158 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is a decrease of seven from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 140 are unvaccinated, while 16 have received one dose, and 27 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 90 are unvaccinated, while six have received one dose, and nine have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 30,063 vaccinations as of Friday. To date, 73 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 84 per cent of adults, and 77 per cent of adults have received both doses.
