Ontario reporting 384 new COVID-19 cases, 41 in Mississauga and 38 in Brampton.

The Region of Peel is reporting 82 new COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday (June 16).
Of Wednesday’s new cases, 41 are in Mississauga, 38 are in Brampton, and just three are in Caledon.
This brings the total for the Region to 110,910 cases. Of these, 109,648 have recovered, while 466 are still pending, 3,105 have been hospitalized, and 796 have died.
As of Wednesday, 59.6 per cent of cases are in Brampton, 36.2 per cent are in Mississauga, and just four per cent are in Caledon.
The median age for cases in Peel is 36, and residents in their 20’s continue to make up most of the cases at 24.6 per cent, followed by those in their 30’s–who make up 17.3 per cent of cases, those in their 40’s–who make up 14.4 per cent, and those in their 50’s–who make up 13.8 per cent.
The Province is reporting 384 new cases on Wednesday, as well as 13 new deaths—a slight increase from Tuesday’s total.

Additionally, the Province is reporting another 202,984 COVID-19 vaccinations as of Wednesday. More than 64 per cent of Ontarians have now received at least one dose of a vaccine, including 75 per cent of adults, and 17.2 per cent of adults have been fully immunized.
