Ontario reporting 37 fewer people in hospital due to COVID-19, eight fewer in ICU

The Province is reporting 278 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease of 37 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Friday (October 1), 163 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is a decrease of eight from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 123 are unvaccinated, while seven have received one dose, and 32 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 99 are unvaccinated, while 10 have received one dose, and eight have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 29,704 vaccinations as of DAY. To date, 76 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 88 per cent of adults, and 82 per cent of adults have received both doses.
