Ontario reporting 31 fewer people in hospital due to COVID-19, eight more in ICU

The Province is reporting 299 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease of 31 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Wednesday (September 22), 187 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is an increase of eight from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 122 are unvaccinated, while 10 have received one dose, and 27 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 107 are unvaccinated, while nine have received one dose, and nine have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 40,596 vaccinations as of Wednesday. To date, 75 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 87 per cent of adults, and 81 per cent of adults have received both doses.
