Ontario reporting 2,716 new cases of COVID-19, 98 in Halton

Halton Region’s daily case count has fallen below 100.

Today (May 10), Ontario is reporting 2,716 new cases of COVID-19, 98 of which have been reported in Halton.

Burlington has recorded 18 new cases while Oakville has 35.

Milton has recorded 31 new cases while Halton Hills has 14.

A total of 15,276 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 218 people have passed away.

There are currently 778 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 4,600 total variant cases in Halton.

A total of 27,175 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
