Ontario reporting 23 fewer people in hospital due to COVID-19, eight fewer in ICU

The Province is reporting 292 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease of 23 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Wednesday (September 29), 172 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is a decrease of eight from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 116 are unvaccinated, while eight have received one dose, and 37 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 107 are unvaccinated, while nine have received one dose, and eight have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 38,297 vaccinations as of Wednesday. To date, 76 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 88 per cent of adults, and 82 per cent of adults have received both doses.
