Ontario reporting 2,073 new cases of COVID-19, 96 in Halton

Halton Region’s daily case count has fallen below 100 for the second day in a row.

Today (May 11), Ontario is reporting 2,073 new cases of COVID-19, 96 of which have been reported in Halton.

Burlington has recorded 20 new cases while Oakville has 39.

Milton has recorded 27 new cases while Halton Hills has 10.

A total of 15,391 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 218 people have passed away.

There are currently 759 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 4,676 total variant cases in Halton.

A total of 28,109 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
