Ontario reporting 19 fewer people in hospital due to COVID-19, one fewer in ICU

The Province is reporting 320 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease of 19 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Thursday (September 2), 162 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is a decrease of one from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 141 are unvaccinated, while 12 have received one dose, and 28 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 90 are unvaccinated, while eight have received one dose, and 14 have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 35,152 vaccinations as of Thursday. To date, 73 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 85 per cent of adults, and 78 per cent of adults have received both doses.
