Ontario reporting 17 fewer people in hospital due to COVID-19, four fewer in ICU

The Province is reporting 346 people in hospital with COVID-19, a decrease of 17 from the day before.

Additionally, as of Wednesday (September 15), 188 people are currently in the ICU due to complications associated with the virus, which is a decrease of four from the previous day.

Of those who are in hospital, 148 are unvaccinated, while seven have received one dose, and 35 have received both doses.

Additionally, of those in the ICU, 116 are unvaccinated, while 10 have received one dose, and 10 have received both doses.

The Province is reporting an additional 35,691 vaccinations as of Wednesday. To date, 75 per cent of Ontarians have received one dose, including 86 per cent of adults, and 80 per cent of adults have received both doses.
